In the Action-Adventure first-person shooter from Ubisoft you play in a fictional rural Montana county and follow the character as they attempt to liberate the region from the control of a violent cult. One of the features which is standing out the most in Far Cry 5 is the open world setting and the large variety of weapons, vehicles, and equipment that can be used to approach challenges and missions in many different ways.

The game got a highly refined combat system with smooth gun play and a few tactical options you can choose from, such as stealth or coming in with a Bang, in the literal sense. You are also able to recruit and control AI companions, each with their own unique abilities.
When it comes to story and setting, the game goes in deep into different themes such as religion, extremism, and politics while meeting a handful of characters with their own motivations and personalities. In addition to that, the depth of side missions and activities allows the player to engage in a variety of activities like hunting, fishing or racing.

Overall, Far Cry 5 is a highly engaging and immersive action-adventure game with a rich open world setting, compelling storyline, and deep gameplay mechanics.
