Juneau adapted very quickly and modern technology unsettled him. He became spoiled and tools that once took him weeks to assemble for surveillance or records now sat in a device the size of his palm. Cases that would have taken a Victorian detective a lifetime to crack took him an afternoon. Life became embarrassingly easy. But just as he adapted another anomaly appeared. After all a man pulled out of his previous timeline doesn't just live an easy life.

Over time moments started repeating, details didn't match and people swore an event happened differently than they happened to him. He started calling it "Glitches". Juneau was no longer just a detective and understood he's the only one standing between timelines and just after accepting that fact one to the other moment he swapped to another body.
