Hytale Server Rules

These Hytale Server Rules govern the use of official Vizora Interactive Hytale servers and apply to all players, visitors, members, and staff interacting with these servers.

They apply to:

    gameplay on Vizora Interactive Hytale Server,

    In-Game Chat and communication features,

    player names, skins (where applicable), builds, and interactions,

    any official services or integrations connected to the Server.

These rules form a binding part of Vizora Interactive's Terms of Service and an addition to the official Hytale Community Guidelines.

1. General conduct & fair play

Players are expected to behave respectfully and contribute to a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment.

Zero-tolerance violations

The following are not tolerated and may result in immediate severe action:

    racism, sexism, or discrimination of any kind,

    hate speech, slurs, or demeaning language,

    political extremism or extremist propaganda,

    sexual content involving minors,

    threats of violence, stalking, or serious harassment.

Minor misconduct
The following behaviors are considered minor misconduct and are handled through graduated enforcement unless circumstances justify escalation:

    excessive swearing,

    spam or flooding messages,

    disruptive behavior that negatively affects others,

    intentionally disturbing events or shared gameplay activities,

    ignoring staff or moderator instructions.

2. Gameplay integrity & world interaction

2.1 Griefing & World Changes

    Griefing, including intentional destruction, sabotage, or alteration of another player builds without permissions is allowed as long as it doesn't involve exploits or cheats to access protected areas.
    The responsibility for unprotected builds may shift to the player.

    Builds, structures, or any other content violating our zero-tolerance policy may be removed without further notice.

2.2 Exploits & unintended mechanics

    Exploits may be used until patched, provided they are not abused excessively or intentionally.

    Deliberate abuse of bugs or unintended mechanics to gain unfair advantages may be treated as cheating.

    Reporting exploits is encouraged and may be rewarded at Vizora Interactive's discretion.

2.3 Cheating & unfair advantages

Cheating includes, but is not limited to:

    unauthorized third-party software,

    manipulation of server systems,

    by-passing intended gameplay limitations.

3. Automation, mods & client modifications

    Automation tools, macros, or scripts are allowed unless they provide a clear gameplay advantage.

    Accessibility tools are allowed.

    Client modifications that alter gameplay, provide unfair advantages, or compromise server security are prohibited.

    Vizora Interactive reserves the right to restrict or disable specific tools or modifications at any time.

4. Economy, trading & resources

Where an in-game economy or trading system exists:

    Scams, fraud, or deceptive trading practices are prohibited.

    Duplication of items, currency, or resources through exploits is prohibited

    Trading or exchanging In-Game items, currency, ranks, passes, or benefits for real-world currencies, cryptocurrencies, or real-world goods or services is strictly prohibited.

    Only Vizora Interactive's official systems and approved platforms may be used for purchases, upgrades, or monetized benefits (e.g. ranks, passes).

    Abuse of trading or economy systems may result in rollback or enforcement actions.

5. Account integrity & ban evasion

    Impersonating Vizora staff, moderators, content creators, or other users is prohibited

    Using alternate accounts to evade restrictions or bans is prohibited.

    Ban evasion may result in escalated penalties, including permanent or indefinite bans, depending on the type and severity of the original violation.

    Enforcement may apply to accounts, devices, or IPs where legally permissible.

6. Moderation philosophy

Moderation decisions are made:

    case-by-case,

    based on severity, intent, and history,

    with proportionality in mind.

Penalties are usually handled privately, but may be communicated publicly where:

    the wider community is affected,

    clarification is required,

    transparency is necessary (e.g. griefing or exploit waves).

7. Enforcement & penalty guidelines

The following escalation ladders are guidelines.
Moderators may skip steps or apply stronger measures where necessary.

7.1 Chat / Voice violations

Applies to spam, disruptive behavior, minor harassment, excessive profanity, or similar violations.

Escalation ladder:

    Warning

    1-hour restriction

    6-hour restriction

    24-hour restriction

    3-day restriction

    7-day restriction

    14-day restriction

    28-day restriction

    90-day restriction

    Permanent restriction

The escalation ladder may reset if no further violations are found within 6 months.
There are no indefinite bans for chat / voice-only violations.

7.2 Cheating, exploits & griefing

Applies to cheating, intentional exploit abuse, griefing, or attempts to gain unfair advantages.

Escalation ladder:

    Warning (only in minor, non-impactful cases; last warning)

    14-day restriction

    90-day restriction

    Permanent restriction

Additional enforcement:
If another account is identified within 6 months after a permanent restriction, an indefinite ban may be applied. The player may be allowed to create a new account after a period of 6 months, subject to review and compliance with these rules.

7.3 Major violations

Applies to hate speech, severe harassment, threats, discrimination, or comparable misconduct.

Escalation ladder:

    7-day restriction

    28-day restriction

    90-day restriction

    Permanent restriction

Additional enforcement:
If another account is identified within 6 months after a permanent restriction, an indefinite ban may be applied. The player may be allowed to create a new account after a period of 6 months, subject to review and compliance with these rules.

8. Appeals & reports

    There is no guaranteed right to appeal.

    Appeals and reports are reviewed case-by-case.

Accepted channels for appeals include:

    Ticket platforms,

    Discord tickets (without the use of personal data),

    Social-Media (without the use of personal data).

Using unofficial or inappropriate channels does not guarantee a response.

9. Updates & changes

These rules may be updated to reflect moderation needs, Discord policy changes, or legal requirements.

Where changes materially affect player rights or obligations, reasonable notice will be provided where feasible.

10. Final provisions

Vizora Interactive reserves the right to:

    interpret these rules in good faith,

    enforce them proportionately,

    and update them where necessary for security, fairness, or legal reasons.
